Weekend Project. 10/17/10 Homemade Highbanker. Video
Well as you can see this is a home made high-banker. I am making it out of a old used high impact plastic truck bed liner. I am not finished yet but was just wondering what some of you might think about this prototype. Still need to finish it, I am not so pleased with the grizzly part yet and I am thinking about it more for a better idea. I still need to build the stand and epoxy some of the parts together and ad the spray bars.. But I was watching this video on another high impact plastic high-banker the G-1 by U.S. Prospector and had this pop into my head. let me know what you think...

@AmusedVermin,
... @AmusedVermin,
Thank you, it works great, it is light, fast clean up and catches the fines.
I have thought about building a submersible myself but that was the draw back I saw...? So I built a conventional dredge :o)
Thanks for watching and your comment.
So I'm not the only ... So I'm not the only one looking in the back of my truck at the liner thinking, "Gee, that would make a nice sluice box! Now to park it on a hill and drop a creek in there. " lol
Great idea.
I used some cheap round rubber mat I got from Home Depot on the front? of my homemade Bazooka trap to get things rolling before they hit the grizzly, but the problem with the Bazooka design is your stuck with whatever grizzly size you put in it. Anything bigger goes rolling back into the river. :(
